I am very excited to announce that I will be speaking during FITC 2012 ! I have attended FITC three times and it will be good to go back and see what amazing things the community is up too. It’s also interesting to note that there are several open frameworks workshop and lectures this year as flash becomes less relevant
I’ll be speaking about getting started in Open Frameworks ! Particularly from a flash developers perspective and the struggles and problems I worked through learning my way around this neat framework of libraries. Linky here
There will be lots of examples, source code and a very friendly intro to the somewhat daunting task of getting started c++ development. All the examples and my overall presentation will be available afterward in the spirit of sharing and openness. But you shouldn’t go just because I’m going to be there, but for all the other amazing speakers and topics that will be going on for almost anyone interested in the digital space! Also Toronto is awesome. And if you don’t go how will we have a dance off at the after party?
