Last quarter I had the opportinuty to work on a side project providing media assets to a team of developers creating a physics based puzzle game. Our art team consisted of less than 5 members and we only had six weeks to develop a style and create polished assets. My job was to design the user built contraptions that were essentially tools to complete puzzles (ladders, ropes, explosives, etc). The style we setteled on was a mix between fantasy/toon, we modeled all assets in cinema4D, and stylized them with sketch and toon and photoshop.
The game was developed using XNA, so sadly it isn’t web deployable but here ARE some of the final assets:

The ever stackable crate, in the game almost any puzzle could be solved with enough crates

These were used in game to bloy away anything big enough blocking the players path.

This was something that I had always wanted to model and happily volunteered for this tool. This was used to launch explosives, crates, or even the character over chasms or tall obstacles

Log Fulcrum - used to launch player onto ledges with a counter weight
